Kids Hurt When Go-Kart, ATV Collide in Stearns County

WAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP - Several kids were hurt when a Go-Kart collided with an ATV. The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says it happened just before 8:30 p.m. on Saturday on Patch Lake Road in Wakefield Township.

A Go-Kart driven by a 12-year-old girl also had two passengers, an 11-year-old boy and an eight-year-old boy. The side-by-side ATV was driven by a 12-year-old boy. They were both driving down a private driveway when they collided.

Two of the boys were taken to St. Cloud Hospital by Gold Cross Ambulance with moderate injuries. The other boy was taken to the hospital by private party.
