Kevin Ahner, 60, Zimmerman

Kevin Mark Ahner, age 60, of Zimmerman, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2015. He was born February 9, 1955 in Princeton, MN the son of Max and Agnes (Kuehn) Ahner. Kevin was united in marriage to Louise Hertaus on January 4th, 1975 at St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Rogers, MN. In his free time Kevin loved canning, sewing, gardening and making homemade sauerkraut. He liked to spend time with his family having get togethers and bonfires. He is loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Kevin is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Louise; children, Michael (Crystal), Joseph (fiancé Jill), James (Lindsey) and daughter-in-law Kim; granddaughter Theresa; siblings, Max Jr. (Kathy), Sandra (David) Marty, Ralph (Cheryl), Richard (Pat), Roger, Steven (Mary), David (Joanne), Edward, Jerome (Barb), Thomas (Sandy), Andy, John and Adam (Shelly); along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son Mark; brother Gerald and sister-in-law Candy.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Christ Our Light Catholic Parish- South Campus, Zimmerman. Visitation will be held from 5-8PM Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Princeton and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Interment will be in St. Pius X Catholic Cemetery in Zimmerman.
