Kerry J. Stang, 43, Eagan

July 22, 1972 – April 29, 2016

Kerry Jay Stang, age 43 of Eagan died Friday, April 29, 2016 at his home.

A memorial gathering celebrating Kerry’s life will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Benson Funeral Home in St. Cloud, MN.

Kerry was born on July 22, 1972 in St. Cloud, MN to Robert and Jane (Lunde) Stang. He graduated from St Cloud Community and Technical College with a degree in Water Treatment in 2002. Kerry worked at the City of Eagan water treatment facility for 14 years and loved his job. He enjoyed the outdoors, spending time at the cabin near Osage, hunting and fishing, particularly archery hunting with his dad and spear fishing. Kerry also enjoyed watching NHL hockey especially the MN Wild. Kerry will be remembered as a kind and caring person who truly loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his parents, Robert and Jane Stang of St. Cloud; sister, Stephanie “Bill” Klein of Randall; nephew Maxwell and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the charity of the donors choice.
