The Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Kenneth Warzecha, age 77 of Waite Park, will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the Church of All Saints-St. Hedwig in Holdingford. Burial will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery. Ken died Tuesday at the St. Cloud Hospital. There will be a visitation from 4-8:00 PM, Friday at the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in Holdingford and another visitation after 9:00 AM, Saturday at the church. The Holdingford Knights of Columbus will pray at 7:30 PM. St. Hedwig parish prayers, the Holdingford American Legion, and the St Cloud Eagles Aerie 622 prayer services will be announced when they are confirmed.

Ken was born July 17, 1938 in Holdingford to Vincent and Rose (Kuklok) Warzecha. Ken was very young when his mother died and his father married Catherine Kuklok Feia, who raised him. Ken entered the U.S. Army in 1952 and was on active duty and then he became a member of the U.S. Army Reserves, retiring in 1992. Ken graduated from St. Cloud State University with a degree in Accounting. He worked at Seitz Stainless in Holdingford where he was their accountant. He retired from there in 2009, but he loved his job and wished he had stayed longer. Ken married Donna Plachecki on September 3, 1962 in St. Cloud. The couple lived in St. Cloud until moving to Pelican Lake, near St. Anna. Ken enjoyed the outdoors and gardening. He collected scale model John Deere Tractors and he enjoyed traveling with Donna. Ken was a lifelong member of St. Hedwig Catholic Church in Holdingford. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus St. Isidore Council 9307, the Holdingford American Legion Frank Feia Post 211 and the St. Cloud Eagles Aerie 622.

Ken is survived by his wife, Donna Warzecha, Waite Park; his chidren John Warzecha, Seattle, WA; Joe (Michelle) Warzecha, Melrose; and Jill (Bill Thorndike) Stromwall, Lindstrom. He is also survived by his siblings Fidelas (Diane) Warzecha, Sauk Rapids; Veronica (Tom) Friehammer, Rice; and Eileen (Al) Fussy. Ken is also survived by his grandchildren Jonathon, Cody, Amy, Jessica, Amanda, Kenny; great-grandchildren Stella and Oaklee.

Ken is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers; James Warzecha, Dominic Warzecha, Richard Warzecha, Lawrence Feia, Cyril Feia and sisters, Isabelle Friehammer and Apolonia Pilarski.
