Kenneth T. Williams, 73, Foley

April 3, 1941 - February 26, 2015

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 2, 2015 at Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church in Foley, for Kenneth T. Williams, age 73, of Foley, who passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at St. Benedict’s Senior Community in St. Cloud. Reverend Timothy Wittwer will officiate. Burial of the urn will take place at a later date.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud and one hour prior to services on Monday at the Church in Foley. A prayer service will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.

Ken was born on April 3, 1941 in Michais, New York to Kenneth and Leona (Mitchell) Williams. He married Norma Valentine on June 25, 1966 at Eagle Lake Lutheran Church in Willmar. Ken was a carpenter the majority of his life also working at the St. Cloud V.A. for over ten years. He was a former member of the Masons and Schriners International.

Ken enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting. In later years, he loved teaching his grandchildren all of these activities.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Norma; children, Kenneth “Chip” of Long Prairie, David of Foley, Julie (Darren) Abfalter of Sauk Rapids, Paula (Travis) Hansen of Foley; 13 grandchildren; three great grandchildren with one on the way; sister Nancy Freese of Oak Park; and extended family.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents.
