A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, April 23, 2016, at the
Wenner Funeral Home in Richmond, MN, for Kenneth Floyd Suckut, age 83, who
died Friday after a courageous battle with ALS. A private Inurnment will be in the
Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery at a later date.

There will be a gathering of relatives and friends at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 23,
2016, at the Wenner Funeral Home in Richmond, MN. Arrangements are with
Wenner Funeral Home, Richmond, MN.

Kenneth was born in Bowdon, ND, to Fred and Lydia (Schaubert) Suckut. He
married LaVon Tallman on August 2, 1956, at the Church of God in Bowdon, ND.
Ken proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a
farmer, electrician and carpenter. Ken enjoyed camping, photography,
geocaching, gardening, going to thrashing shows, fishing and spending time with
friends and family. He was a very skilled woodworker, making many things –
furniture, games, knickknacks, jewelry and even a teardrop camper.

Survived by his wife, LaVon; daughter, Sheila Motzko (Kevin Hudak); son, Monte
Suckut; grandsons, Kyle Reischl and Spencer Suckut; great-grandchildren, Brody
and Layla Reischl; and sister, Garnet Schander.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Lydia; brothers, Lorance, Jake,
Bob, Roy and Donald.

Memorials preferred to the ALS Association.
