Kennedy Community School Getting New Principal

ST. CLOUD - Kennedy Community School will have a new principal next year.

Superintendent Willie Jett announced on Wednesday that current assistant principal at South Junior High School, Laurie Putnam, will become the principal at Kennedy Community School.

Judy Nagel is currently the principal at Kennedy. The change will take place on July 1st.

The District also announced two other administrative changes taking place.

Technical High School Assistant Principal Carol Potter accepted a position for Director of Alternative Special Education Programs. The District is building a new school to house alternative special education programs on the Roosevelt site. Potter will start later this month in her new role to prepare for the programs being offered at the site.

Tina Lahr will be moving to Tech High School as Assistant Principal. Lahr has experience as an Assistant Principal at Apollo with Charlie Eisenreich, who will be moving to become principal at the school this summer.
