CHAD TAYLOR IS MORE THAN JUST A SCARE CAM BRAT

Despite the #kellyscarecam, the jokes, the pokes, the embarassing moments shared with the whole world when Chad can't keep his mouth shut. Chad is like a little brother and has turned out to be quite inspirational for me; A great friend. Someone I can vent and chat with, and someone to laugh at the silly things we do. Not only that, Chad has pushed me to go back to who I really am...and has helped me get back into music, which I had all but given up.

FOCUS ON GOOD THINGS...AND GOOD THINGS WILL COME...

There are many philosophies that I've studied throughout my life. Staying positive, how to be successful, how to make every moment count....focus on good things and good things will come. But as life would have it, some of the twists and turns really brought me down different paths..and some of my greatest passions were left on the dusty roads behind me.  Still there, but much less traveled.

A PERSON LIVING THEIR PASSION IS A SUCCESS

Success is different things to different people. For me as of late, Chad pushed me back into the music world. Many of the motivational speakers I have listened to through the years have always said, that quite often, success is parallel to a person using their unique gifts and talents. I thought that I wasn't able to pursue those talents anymore. Whether it be age, being a divorced mom, going through those struggles, sort of buried that part of me. But I realized, it was those very abilities I was ignoring that I should have poured myself into when I needed them most.

UNTIL ONE DAY...

One day a couple months ago, Chad, realizing that music and singing were still in my heart, He pushed me to "JUST DO IT".....book a date, and then make it happen. It wasn't one little push...It was several nudges, and finally he just pushed me off the cliff.

So I did. I was frightened! Can I still play? Will I be able to sing like I used too? This past Friday night at Water's Edge, it all came together. I've never been so into my performance. I enjoyed the feel of the keys beneath my fingers, and singing at the top of my lungs.  It seems that the more I play and practice it's all coming back to me...maybe even better than before. This time around, more than ever before, perhaps because of more life expereince... I'm singing from my heart....just for me...with passion in every note....and enjoying it to the fullest.

I'm remembering what I've always known deep in my heart... that your passions will attract more of what you love in your life. SO I would like to let you know about those good things that are now coming:

THANKS TO CHAD FOR KICKING ME IN THE BUTT

All joking aside....All of this...has come from one person really pushing me everyday!  My co host. From 5:50am to 10 am every weekday, he sits across from me in the Mix studio. With so much time in eachothers face, I'm glad we get along! He's like my little brother....I want to clobber his sometimes and tell him to shut up...but other times I have to pat him on the head for doing good.  Thanks Chad! All joking aside...I don't think I've ever been happier in my life than right now!
