90% of the pumpkins in America come from central Illinois, and the crop is down almost one third this year because of record amounts of rain in June.The demand for pumpkin is as high as ever. BUT!  Apparently, the pumpkins can't keep up with the demand. So if you want to make sure you can bake pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving, you might want to stock up on your pumpkin right now!
