The Tin Man- Waking up with stiff ankles

I think it's funny what you get used to over time. For the past year, slowly, I've had trouble with my feet when I get out of bed. I've been making jokes that I'm like the Tin Man in "The Wizard Of Oz"..... I get out of bed, and my ankles won't bend. Seriously!  They don't hurt....BUT...They won't bend!  It takes about 5 minutes of walking around the house before they start working.

Could it be Plantar Fasciitis?

I've just been getting used to it..until yesterday. I finally thought to myself....Hmmm...Why am I the only one who gets out of the car, and can't bend my ankles?

FINDING ANSWERS

I started searching the internet for answers. The first thing I found was Rhumatoid Arthritis. NO. That's not it. There's no pain. I just need a little oil. So the only thing I could find was Plantar Fasciitis.  Typically something that runner's get, I thought...surely ...this can't be me. BUT! It' s also caused when you have an imbalance in your hips and pelvis...causing you to put more weight on one foot more than the other. Now..That sounds like me. So last night, I started doing these excercises, and I already had a huge improvement when I woke up this morning.

If you're having this problem, my advice is: Don't put it off as getting older. That's not it. Fix it! Here are some quick do it yourself exercises to assist you in your recovery. I hope they help!

This is the video I watched last night. It worked for me. Try it!
