Keith “Pete” Kenneth Lester, 68, Princeton

October 3, 1946 - June 18, 2015

Keith “Pete” Kenneth Lester, 68, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 18, 2015 with his family by his side. Pete was born on October 3, 1946 in Blooming Prairie, MN, to Thomas and Gladys Lester. Pete enlisted in the United States Navy on June 16, 1964 and served until his honorable discharge on October 2, 1967. Pete worked at Merrill Lynch for 31 years and retired as a Vice President of Operations. Pete was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting, fishing, landscaping and gardening. Pete loved spending time with his family and was a regular spectator at all of his grandchildren’s activities.

He is survived by his loving wife Karren; children, Tom(Janelle) Lester, Lynn (David) Haight and Ryan (Nicole) Lester; grandchildren, Emily, Sean, Justin, Allison, Heath and Owen; brother Larry; sister Norma; along with many other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Gordon.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM, Monday, June 22, 2015 at Christ Our Light Catholic Parish, North Campus in Princeton. Visitation will be held from 10-11AM prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in St. Edward’s Catholic Cemetery, Princeton.
