The Mass of Christian Burial, celebrating the life of Kayla Marie Wolbeck, age 23 of Albany, will be 12:00 Noon on Thursday, October 9 at Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Albany. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Kayla passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Friday, October 3 at the St. Cloud Hospital. There will be a visitation from 4-8:00 PM Wednesday and after 11:00 AM Thursday at the Miller-Carlin-Brenny Funeral Home in Albany. Seven Dolors Parish Prayers will be at 4:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.

Kayla was born on January 15, 1991 in Sauk Centre, MN to Kevin and Debbie (Sand) Wolbeck. Kayla grew up on a farm in Albany and graduated from Albany High School in 2009. Kayla recently moved to Sartell and loved her new place. She has worked for Wacosa for over three years and enjoyed working at the ThriftWorks! store. Kayla was very involved in Special Olympics and was nominated Female Athlete of the Year in 2007, earning many awards, medals, and ribbons throughout the years. Kayla loved being with her family and friends and especially loved being with her many nephews and nieces. She had a huge passion for animals and loved growing up on the family farm. Kayla also loved attending sporting events. She was a member of Seven Dolors Catholic Church.

Survivors include her parents, Kevin and Debbie Wolbeck, Albany; sisters, Melanie (Greg) Cimenski, Royalton; Jenny Wolbeck, Sartell; Kim (Mike Meyer) Wolbeck, Rice; and her brother, Jeremy Wolbeck of Albany. She is also survived by her grandparents, Bert and Lorraine Sand, Freeport; Ludwina Wolbeck, Grey Eagle; and her nephews; Shaun, Evan (Godson), Jayse, Colten, nieces, Bethany, Hannah, Hailey, Kyllie and Shelby. She is also survived by special friend, Pat Mccue of Sartell.

Kayla is preceded in death by her sister, Marie Wolbeck in 1991, uncle Ronald Sand and grandfather, Lawrence Wolbeck.
