Kathy was born April 21, 1950 in St. Cloud to Edward & Josephine (Poepping) Ruhoff. She graduated from Foley High School in 1968. She met Denny Timm at Mr. Jim’s in 1966 and she stole his heart. They were married on September 23, 1972 at St. Lawrence Church in Duelm.

Kathy worked at Fingerhut until 1974 when they started their family. Kathy was an amazing mother to her 3 boys, Jeff, Mike and Jayme. In 1981 Denny & Kathy bought Coast to Coast Hardware, which later became Denny & Kathy’s Ace Hardware. Kathy helped manage the business until her disease had progressed too far.

Kathy was Miss Fingerhut in the Miss St. Cloud Pageant, recognized by Women in Business and met Hillary Clinton.

Kathy had a passion for life, loved to entertain and was happiest when friends and family were around. She traveled throughout the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. Her overseas trips included Australia, Austria, New Zealand, Italy, Germany, Norway and Tahiti.

Her greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren, Lucas, Zachary, Alexander, and Blake Timm.

Proceeded in death by her parents and grandson, Lucas Timm.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Denny, sons, Jeff (Valerie), Michael (Amanda), Jayme (girlfriend, Meghan), brothers, Dick Ruhoff, and Bernard (Marilyn) Ruhoff, 3 grandsons, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
