A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:30 A.M. on Friday, November 18, 2016 at the Church of St. Henry Catholic Church in Monticello, MN for Kathleen Mary Haley, age 94 of Monticello, MN formerly of St. Cloud, MN who died at the St. Benedict Senior Community in St. Cloud, MN. The Reverend Tony VanderLoop will be the celebrant. Burial will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN. Visitation will be Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 4 P.M. until 7 P.M. at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud with a prayer services by St. Augustine’s Parish at 4:30 P.M.

Kathleen was born on January 29, 1922 in New Richmond, WI the daughter of Patrick and Estella (Bellew) Murphy. She married William Haley, on July 19, 1947 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in St. Paul, MN She lived in the Twin Cities until 1961. She was employed for 11 years at North Junior High School.

She was a past member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, and it’s Christian Mother’s, a life-long member of the D of I of St. Cloud, a past member of St. Augustine’s Catholic Church and it’s Christian Women, volunteered for: Meals on Wheels, St. Cloud Hospital, St. Cloud Hospital RSVP for 17 years, past President of St. Cloud Hospital Auxiliary (1991-1992) Red Cross Blood Bank, Eucharistic Minister and volunteer at Talahi Nursing Home and St. Augustine Church, and Monticello Big Lake Hospital, St. Benedict’s Village Independent Living

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William on April 26, 1999, an infant son Daniel, one grandson, Andrew T. Haley and six sisters and four brothers.

She is survived by, her seven children, Mary (Michael) Kachman of Champlain, MN, Timothy (Karla) of Maple Grove, MN, Terrence (Terry L.) of Minnetonka, MN, Kevin (Darlene) of St. Cloud, MN, Jeanne (Alan) Yohn of St. Michael, MN and Cecilia (Lee) Haakenson of Prior Lake, MN, and Jim of St. Cloud, MN, twelve grandchildren, and five great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
