Memorial Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Karen Ann Zenner, 62, of Buffalo will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 5, 2015 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sartell. Karen passed away peacefully on Monday, May 25, 2015 at Parkview Care Center in Buffalo after a 15 year diagnosis with Dementia. Reverend Timothy Baltes will officiate. Inurnment will be in Assumption Cemetery Columbarium.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Friday at the church. Arrangements are with Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud.

Karen was born on August 27, 1952 in St. Cloud to Wilfred and Rosemary (Kerfeld) Zenner. She graduated from Wabasha High School in 1970 and went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree from St. Cloud State University. Karen was employed at Brown Shoe Company/Famous Footwear for 25 years. Through work, she was able to live in various parts of the country and embraced every city she lived in.

Karen’s favorite moments were spent with her dogs. She also enjoyed traveling, old movies, and spending time with her family.

Karen is survived by her brothers and sisters, Deborah (Donn) Drommerhausen of Stillwater, Thomas (Linda) of Vista, CA, Mary Susan (Kevin) Dahl of Buffalo, Daniel of Kimball, David (Andrea) of Inver Grove Heights; nieces and nephews, Mark (Michele) and Scott (Julie) Drommerhausen, Briana (Travis) Hagen, Abby Dahl and their children, Treyton, Tatum , Cole, Connor, Charlie, Kendall, Caevin , Evan, Aaron and Grace; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Karen’s family would like to thank Dr. Holm and Bethesda Hospital Neurology Staff, the staff of Parkview Care Center, Guardian Angels Hospice of Buffalo and the many other wonderful caregivers and facilities over the years.
