Joe was born October 13, 1936 in St. Augusta to Norbert and Rose (Fischer) Kenning. He married Diane Lommel on July 4, 1969 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Rockville. Joe loved to farm, fix tractors and milk cows. He farmed and lived in the same house he was born. Along with farming, he’ll be remembered for inventing a conveyor and silage box along with many other things. Joe was a “red” man, loving International Tractors and equipment. Joe’s greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. He was a life member of St. Mary Help of Christians Parish, Nocturnal Adoration and Knights of Columbus Council 5548.

Joe is survived by his wife Diane, children Bernice (Joe Skinner), Patty (Dave) Noon, Andy (Stephanie), and Daniel, six grandchildren; Zachary, Connor, Carter, Coltin, Courtney and Clinton and four step-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Br. Lawrence and Walter and sisters Rita (Jerome) Kettner and Irene (Rob) Warfield.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
