The St. John's University hockey team toppled #15 Augsburg 5-0 at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center on Saturday. The loss improves SJU to .500 overall on the season at 5-5, while the loss was the first of the season for Augsburg, who are now 8-1-1.

Jason Johnson's even strength goal at 5:30 of the first period was the eventual game-winner, and Saxton Soley made 25 saves to earn the shutout for the Johnnies.

The Johnnies host the University of Wisconsin-River Falls on December 12.
