Johnnies Coach Smith Earns 750th Win Monday Night

St John’s Basketball defeated Carleton last night in Collegeville 73-66 to earn coach Jim Smith his 750th career win.

St. John’s ended the game on a 28-11 run to distance themselves from the Knights, and in doing so won their fourth straight game after a five game losing streak.

Freshman Mitchell Kuck of Lino Lakes led St. John’s with 19 points.

The Johnnies are now 7-10 overall and 6-6 in conference play . Next up for St. John’s is a trip to Saint Paul Wednesday night for a date with Concordia.
