COLLEGEVILLE - St. John's held on to defeat Augsburg 30-28 today, taking advantage of seven turnovers to improve to 5-1 on the season.

Quarterback Connor Bruns finished 13/26 for 148 yards with a touchdown and interception. Sam Sura rushed 21 times for 86 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.

The victory ended a two game winning streak for Augsburg against St. John's. Augsburg moved to a 3-2 record after the loss.

St. John's will travel to Northfield next week to take on Carleton College. Game time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
