COLLEGEVILLE -- Despite a sub-par season, the St. John's University Football team lead the nation again this year in attendance among Division III schools.

For the 10th consecutive season, and 14th time in the last 18 years, the Johnnies topped the attendance list.

They averaged over 8,600 fans per game, and totaled over 43,000 fans in five home games.  St. John's drew a record 16,421 fans against St. Thomas, which is the largest crowd to ever see a Division III football game.

The Johnnies finished 6-2 in the MIAC and 7-3 overall.
