The St. John's baseball team lost 4-2 to Coe College of Iowa in La Crosse, Wisconsin today in their first game of the NCAA Division III tournament at the Midwest Regional.  St. John's scored a run in the first inning but Coe came back with 2 runs in the 2nd inning and 2 more in the 4th.  St. John's cut the lead to 4-2 with a run in the 5th inning.  Senior outfielder Aaron Pfaff had 3 hits and 2 runs scored.  Tom Druk and Patrick Strey each had 2 hits for the Johnnies.

Tyler Delwiche threw all 9 innings for St. John's with 10 hits and 4 earned runs allowed.  He takes the loss.  St. John's will play an elimination game Thursday at 11am in La Crosse, Wisconsin against either Ripon or UW-Whitewater.
