John Elton Moore, 52, Sartell, MN, died Thursday, October 26, 2017.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, November 2, at Celebration Lutheran Church, Sartell. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, and one hour prior to services at the church. Private burial will be at a later date.

John was born July 15, 1965, in St. Paul, MN, to Zane D. Smith and Janice A. (Sletta) Moore. He married Jessica E. Nolan on January 20, 2001, in Monticello, MN. John received a BS in Biology from St. Cloud State University. He was employed as a melter by Grede Foundries. John was known as a hard worker and a jokester. He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his children and family.

Survivors include his wife; children, Julianna (14), Nolan (12), Alexa (10), and Honora (5); sisters, Jody Moore, Lori (George) Haney, and Jane Maas of Nebraska, and Heidi (Kevin) Beckett of Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandfather, Elton Sletta.
