John A. Schweigert, 52, Princeton

August 23, 1962 - May 31, 2015

John Andrew Schweigert, age 52, of Princeton, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2015. He was born on August 23, 1962 in Gackle, ND, the son of Kermit and Mary Lou (Janke) Schweigert.

John attended school at Carrington High School in North Dakota before he entered into the United States Army. John worked at the Princeton Airport for over 17 years as an air traffic control specialist. In his spare time, John had a passion for cars; fixing them and watching races. His children were his life and he especially adored his new grandson, Keegan.

John is survived by his children, Aaron (Stacie) Schweigert and their son Keegan of Rosemount, Justin (girlfriend Bree Heller) Schweigert of St. Cloud; siblings, Claudia (Dann) Holm, Patty Kling, Barb (Galen) Opp, Deb (Wes) Leapaldt and James (Nicole) Schweigert; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and parents.

A Memorial Service will begin at 2:00 PM, Friday, June 5th at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Princeton. A Visitation will be held from 1-2PM prior to the service.
