Joann Elizabeth Leider, 70, Brooklyn Park

Joann Elizabeth Leider, 70, of Brooklyn Park, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 29, 2015.

Joann was born on July 21, 1945 in Princeton, MN, the daughter of Otto and Rose (Rotz) Leider. She grew up in Princeton and following graduation from High School, moved to Uptown Minneapolis where she resided for over 50 years. Joann worked various jobs in the Twin Cities area. When she was not working, Joann volunteered at Jefferson Elementary School, the food shelf and at various churches. Anywhere help was needed in her community she was there to volunteer her time. She also enjoyed attending Bible Study, doing word finds and puzzles.

She is survived by her son Brian (Jennifer) Leider; grandchildren Michael and Mallory Leider; siblings, Charles (Joanne) Leider, Marilyn (Marty) Beer, Arlene Zeroth, Dennis (Patricia) Leider, Neal (Sandra) Leider, Roger (Nancy) Leider and Rita (Jeff) Nelson; brothers and sister-in-law, Joseph Trunk, Earl Brooks and Judy Leider; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Dorothy Trunk, Carol Brooks and Gerald Leider; and brother-in-law Eugene Zeroth.
