SAUK RAPIDS - A time-honored favorite Sauk Rapids business is getting a facelift.

The staff of Jimmy's Pour House say they will begin replacing the building's aluminum exterior with a smoother, more antique-styled cement fiberboard.

General Manager Dan Lynch says the building itself is very old, and the new style of siding will both refurbish the structure, and make Jimmy's look a lot more like a "classic pub."

Lynch says they've been working on remodeling the restaurant in stages over the years, finishing the kitchen a couple of years ago.

He adds that, with the spring weather, the renovations could begin as soon as a couple of weeks from now.

And speaking of Jimmy's, they're hosting their annual St. Patrick's Day bash tomorrow starting at 10 a.m., with live music - including local favorite "Slip Twister" -  kicking off at noon.
