Jerome R. Nowak, age 72 of Princeton passed away on Monday, February 2, 2015 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in St. Cloud. He is preceded in death by his parents and survived by his wife Barbara of Princeton; children, Michelle (Donald) Peterson of Aitkin; Nick (Terra) of Princeton and Amy (Dean) Bemboom of Mayhew Lake; 10 grandchildren, David, Andrew, Sadie, Anna Maria, Grace, Cooper, Magdalen, Nicholas, Tony, and Isabel. He is also survived by his brothers, Joseph (Alice) of Beaver Dam, WI; Robert of Princeton and nieces and nephews.

Jerome was born in Northeast Minneapolis to Joseph & Magdalen (Pastuszak) Nowak. He graduated from De La Salle High School and then served his country in the United States Navy. He returned to attend and later graduate from the University of Minnesota. He married Barbara J. Pouliot on August 7, 1965 in Crystal. In 1972 he moved to Princeton and in 1981 purchased and moved onto the farm they are currently living on in rural Princeton. He worked as an accountant for Fingerhut in St. Cloud and later as a consultant for FDC in St. Cloud. Jerry was a generous, quiet man who was extremely proud of his polish heritage. He was very proud of his family and next to the love of his family he extremely enjoyed the farm and especially the land.

Memorial services will be 11:00AM Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the Princeton Free Church in Princeton. The Rev. John Patnode will officiate. Friends and relatives may call 1 hour prior to services at the church in Princeton. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Williams Dingmann Funeral Home in Princeton.
