Jerome J. “Butch” Orcutt, 69, Sartell

Memorial services celebrating the life of Jerome J. “Butch” Orcutt, 69, of Sartell will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the Daniel Funeral Home Chapel in St. Cloud. Butch passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Sunday, December 28, 2014. His daughter, Pastor Leslie Ann Herndon will officiate. Inurnment with military honors will be at a later date at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

Butch was born on August 16, 1945 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Jerome J. and Theresa (Lenarz) Orcutt Sr. After graduating from Technical High School he joined the US Navy and served during the Vietnam War. He married Lori Kjaer on February 17, 1968 in Sauk Rapids.

Butch is survived by his wife of 46 years; Lori of Sartell; children; Leslie (Bonnie) Herndon of Sartell; Scott (Jodi) of Waite Park, Brad (Tarra) of Sartell; nine grandchildren; former daughter-in-law, Shannon Orcutt of St. Cloud.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
