Jeanne M. Thelen, 81, Richmond

July 16, 1933 - November 11, 2014

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM Monday, November 17, 2014 at Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Richmond for Jeanne M. Thelen, 81, who died Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family. A reception will follow the Mass at church on Monday. Rev. Edward Vebelun will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Waite Park. Friends and relatives may call from 4:00 – 8:00 PM on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in St. Cloud and after 9:00 AM at the church on Monday. Parish prayers will be prayed at 7:30 PM on Sunday at the funeral Home.

Jeanne was born July 16, 1933 in Hokah, Minnesota to Mark and Ruth (Graf) Corcoran. She married Rodney “Twerp” G. Thelen on May 28, 1955 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Caledonia, Minnesota. Jeanne was employed for 23 years as an Administrative Secretary at Northwestern Bell. She was a member of Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Richmond where she was very involved in church activities. Jeanne loved to play cards, watching and feeding birds, walking, and yoga.

Jeanne is survived by her children, Mark (Charlene) of Monticello, Richard of Grand Rapids, MI, Michael (Lani Suarez) of Brooklyn Park, Steven “Beaver” (Clare) of Hauula, HI, Jodee Thelen of Seattle, WA, Jill (William) Sieben of Sartell; siblings, Marilyn (Jerome) Sweeney of Mansfield, OH, Donna (Frank) Burgess of Cherry Valley, CA, Regina (Tom) McCauley of Cottage Grove, Colleen (George) Bebusti of West Haven, CT, Dan (Barb) Corcoran of Rochester; grandchildren, Jeremy Thelen, Christopher (Lori) Thelen, Allyson (Isaac) Hedtke, Nicholas Sieben, Sarah (Camaron) Lemmer, Samm Todd, and Zachary Thelen. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Rodney on December 1, 1996.
