Janet G. Christle-Rossmeisl

March 16, 1937 - May 10, 2017

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 15, 2017 at Church of Our Lady in Manannah for Janet G. Christle-Rossmeisl, age 80, who passed away Wednesday at Koronis Manor Care Center in Paynesville. Rev. Brian Mandel will officiate and entombment will be at the St. Louis Cemetery Mausoleum in Paynesville. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Church of Our Lady in Manannah and one hour prior to the services Monday also at the church. Parish prayers will be at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Eden Valley.

Janet was born March 16, 1937 in Richmond to John & Aurelia (Arnold) Christle. She married Eugene Rossmeisl on Sept. 28, 1957 at Church of Our Lady in Manannah. Janet worked at the Willmar State Hospital in the Mental Illness Program for 30 years, retiring in 1995 as the Activities Director. She was an active member of Church of Our Lady in Manannah. She was a past president of Eden Valley American Legion Post #381 Auxiliary and the Christian Mothers at Church of Our Lady in Manannah and Assumption Catholic Church in Eden Valley. Janet also served as the Clerk for Manannah Township. She enjoyed gardening and traveling, and loved to spend time outdoors. She was very active and loved to go to auctions and sales.

Janet is survived by her daughter, Jane (Dean) Sogge of Eden Valley; brothers, Paul Christle of Chisago City, MN and Peter Christle of Kamiah, ID. She was preceded in death by her parents, John & Aurelia Christle; and husband, Eugene in 2005.
