Jane Lucille Katherine Brackney, Sartell, MN, died Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Country Manor Health Care Center, Sartell, MN.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Benson Funeral Home Chapel, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday. Burial will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.

Jane was born in Keewatin, MN to Fred L. and Effie Mae (Latvala) Peterson. She married Emmert Manson Brackney in St. Paul, MN. Prior to her marriage, Jane was employed as a professional singer. She moved from the Twin Cities area to St. Cloud in 2002. Jane has been a resident of Country Manor Senior Campus since 2009.

Survivors include daughters, Janet Lore of Sartell, MN; Kim Rabe of Holcombe, WI; and Patricia Donelson of Conyers, GA; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Emmert on May 27, 1990, son, Michael Brackney, and sons-in-law, Stephen Lore and Mark Rabe.

Memorials to the Salvation Army are preferred.
