James was born on February 16, 1933 in Hendricks, MN to Benjamin and Florence (Davis) Fasbender. During his youth he helped on the farm and also did carpentry work. James is preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter Amy, and sisters, Sr. Bennett Fasbender and Sr. Veronica Fasbender.

In lieu of flowers, masses and memorials are preferred.

The family of James thanks you for your kind expressions of sympathy; they are deeply appreciated. Instead of sending thank you cards, James requested that Masses of Thanksgiving be offered for you and your intentions.
