Jade Posterick, age 16, of Foley, died Friday May 8, 2015 from injuries received in an auto accident in Palmer Township, rural Sherburne County.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Thursday, May 14, 2015 at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Gilman. The Rev. Leo Moenkedick will officiate. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 Wednesday at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Gilman and after 9 AM Thursday at church. Service with Dignity provided by the Foley Funeral Home.

Jade Posterick was born October 13, 1998 in Princeton, Minnesota to David and Lisa (Lewandowski) Posterick. Jade lived all her life in the Foley area and was a sophomore at Foley High School. She will be remembered for being a good talker and listener and a great friend and counselor to all who knew her. She was a member of the Foley Falcon softball team as well as the Falcon volleyball team. She had a wonderful smile and was a ray of sunshine to anyone who's life she touched. Jade was a country girl at heart and enjoyed hunting and fishing and going to the cabin. She especially liked Chinese food and strawberry shakes, children and babysitting. She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.

She is survived by her mother and father; Lisa Lewandowski (fiance, Brian Foss), Pierz; David Posterick, Gilman; brother, Jordan, Gilman, sister, Kayla Foss, Milaca and grandparents; Dale and Judy Lewandowski, Zimmerman; Bill Posterick, Brennyville and Joyce and John Casey of Motley, aunts and uncles; Sherrie (Kevin) Chmielewski, Duelm, Brenda (Rick) Dudek, Becker; Terra (Roger) Pohlkamp, Pierz; Gary Posterick, Morrill; Alan (Jodie) Posterick, Morrill and cousins; Daniell (Tim) Boron, Blair (Eric) Herm, Eric Dudek, Megan Dudek, Paige Pohlkamp, Paityn Pohlkamp, Chad (Sarah) Posterick, Carl (Krissy) Posterick, Mark (Laura) Posterick, Tarah Posterick, Darren Posterick, Ellie Posterick and special friend, Wesly Eisenbraun.

She was preceded in death by her aunt and uncle, Cindy Posterick and Danny Posterick.
