It’s Going to be a Hot and Steamy Day

National Weather Service

UNDATED – A Heat Advisory is in effect for this afternoon for portions of western Wisconsin and the southern half of Minnesota.

A warm and humid airmass will settle across the region tomorrow. Afternoon high temperatures will reach the upper 80s across northern Wisconsin and Minnesota, and mid 90s to around 100 degrees over parts of southern Minnesota and Wisconsin.

The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity will cause heat indices to reach near 100 degrees across the region, so it will feel warmer than the actual temperature.

Looking ahead, on Thursday the Upper Midwest will cool off a few degrees, but will still remain above normal for the rest of the week.
