Isabella was born March 22, 1919 to William & Clara (Marshik) Lewandowski in rural Foley. She married Edward Jedlicki and he passed away in 1944. Isabella then married Harley Stuart and they lived in Sauk Rapids since 1945. Her life was busy and interesting, and her faith and family came first. She was a very dedicated person who enjoyed life to the fullest; there was never a dull moment. After her children left, Isabella worked at J.C. Penney before retiring. Isabella and her husband, Harley were members of the State Federation of Square Dancers for a number of years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she was involved in the Christian Women, Daughters of Isabella and the Mission Circle. Isabella worked as an election judge for Sauk Rapids and was president of the Sauk Rapids Senior Citizens. Her hobbies were fancy work, gardening, baseball games, square dancing and traveling. Her most interesting and enjoyable trips were to the Holy Land/Israel, Hawaii, and numerous U.S. sites. Last but not least, her greatest enjoyment was preparing meals for her family, especially large gatherings. Isabella had much love to share with her family, relatives and friends. Her life was never empty, she loved animals, therefore they were her companions. One of Isabella’s most frequent quotes was “Do not forget to smile or say thank you, neither costs anything, but is very rewarding.”

Isabella is survived by her children, Joanne (William) Cogswell of Emporia, KS, Rodney (Linda) Jedlicki of Louisville, KY, Ralph (Cynthia) Stuart of Sauk Rapids and Gary Stuart of Big Lake; grandchildren, Kelly, Kim, Kristi, Caryn, Andre, Clarrisa, Crystine, Greg and Gina; great grandchildren, Cameron, Phillip, Tyler, Tristan, Kassidy, Kody, Isabella and Charlotte; sisters and brothers, Johanna Nouska of Bloomington, Lucille Connors of Zimmerman, Mary Jane (James) Suess of Richfield, Frank Lewandowski of Zimmerman and Robert (Donna) Lewandowski of Onamia; sisters-in-law, Virginia Lewandowski of Foley and Violet Lewandowski of Minneapolis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
