Iowa Truck Driver Fatally Struck on Minneapolis Freeway
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - The Minnesota State Patrol says an Iowa truck driver is dead after he got out of his semi on a Minneapolis interstate and was struck by another vehicle.
Forty-seven-year-old Robert Passow of Fort Dodge, Iowa, had gotten out of his rig after a minor traffic accident during Monday's morning rush hour on Interstate 35-W near downtown Minneapolis.
Reports say Passow was struck by a pickup truck. The pickup driver was not hurt.
The incident happened just after 6 a.m. Monday.
