Investigation Into Potentially Stolen Truck Parts Launched

COLLEGEVILLE - The Stearns County Sheriff's office is investigating where potentially stolen truck parts might have come from.

Authorities were investigating an unrelated issue at a residence at 15348 County Rd. 51in Collegeville Township when they discovered a vehicle with five catalytic converters and a sawzall in the back seat.

The converters appeared to have been recently removed from a larger vehicle.

Investigators haven't been able to match the items with a recent theft in the area.

They're asking that owners of trucks check vehicles that have been idle for the past few months, and for anyone with information to call the Stearns County Sheriff's Office.
