Investigation Continues in Sunday Morning Shooting

ST. CLOUD -- St. Cloud Police are investigating report of gunshots fired early Sunday morning.

The incident happened just before 4:30 a.m. at the 200 Block of 24th Avenue North.

A resident told dispatch they heard several shots fired in the area and several people were outside where the shots occurred.

Officers say a 36-year-old man from Minneapolis had a gunshot wound to his buttocks. He was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Police do not believe this was a random incident and say there is no risk to the public at this time.
