Interstate 94 Project In Monticello Complete, Lanes Open

MONTICELLO - You can expect smooth sailing as you drive on Interstate 94 through Monticello. Starting today (Wednesday), all lanes of I-94 are now open in both directions.

The newly constructed lanes and ramps are part of the $17 million Monticello improvement project.

The project reconstructed two miles of the interstate, added a new westbound auxiliary lane, reconfigured the ramps and acceleration lane, and upgraded traffic signals.
