Inez was born March 10, 1937 in St. Cloud to Barney and Crescentia (Hurrle) Kronenberg. She graduated from Technical High School in 1955 as Salutatorian of her class. Following high school she worked as a secretary to the Dean of Academic Administration at St. Cloud State University where she spent the majority of her career. While working full time, Inez went back to school to obtain her Associates Degree in 1974 and later her Bachelor’s Degree in 1979; she was very proud of this accomplishment. Later, Inez worked as a Travel Guide for Travel Easy; and a Consultant for Creative Memories. Inez enjoyed researching genealogy; she was a charter member of SCAG (St. Cloud Area Genealogists). She was also very proud of her travel expeditions to all 50 states plus all territories and provinces in Canada; three trips to Europe; crossing the Mediterranean Sea to Morocco in Africa; New Zealand, and Australia. As one of their biggest fans Inez also traveled to many Oak Ridge Boys concerts. Inez was an avid supporter of the Stearns County History Museum, Paramount Theater, and Munsinger Gardens. She also had a passion for scrapbooking, photography, crocheting, and latch hooking.

Inez is survived by her sister, Connie (Patrick) Lahr of Maple Lake; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers; Mark, A.C., Utley Sr., and Miles.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Stearns History Museum.

The family would like to thank Dr. Jurgens and the staff at the Coborns Cancer Center, St. Benedict’s Senior Community and St. Cloud Hospital Hospice for the wonderful care of Inez.
