The Twins bats were silent Friday just 24 hours after smacking four home runs against Chicago in a 5-1 loss at Cleveland. Minnesota managed just five hits in the game against the Indians pitching staff.

Brian Dozier's sixth inning solo home run accounted for the only Twins run of the game. Trevor Plouffe had a pair of singles in the loss for Minnesota, who falls to 33-37 on the season.

Starter Sam Deduno went six innings and registered six strikeouts while allowing four runs on six hits.

The Twins and Indians will play again Saturday night at Progressive Field.
