Private Family Services were held at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home – Stein Chapel, Long Prairie for Jane L. Huisentruit, age 91 of Long Prairie who passed away on Tuesday at CentraCare Health Systems-Long Prairie. Rev. Gary Taylor officiated and burial was at Evergreen Cemetery in Long Prairie.

Jane L. Anderson was born November 6, 1923 on the family farm north of Grey Eagle, the daughter of Christian and Mae (Christianson) Anderson. She grew up in the Grey Eagle area and attended school there. She graduated from Grey Eagle High School in 1940. She worked for the telephone company until her marriage to Maurice Huisentruit on February 9, 1950 in Hudson, Wisconsin. In later years, Jane was employed by Todd County Social Services as a driver for the elderly.

Jane was a member of the Long Prairie V.F.W. Auxiliary and the Little Sauk American Legion Auxiliary. She loved to travel and take long road trips. She also enjoyed playing many card games. Jane was known for wonderful pie baking skills and great chili and soups.

Jane is survived by her children, JoAnn Nathe, Sauk Centre; and Jill Lettau, Las Vegas; four grandchildren, Kristen Nathe, Justin Lettau, Kelsey Lettau, and Jason Lettau, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Maurice in 1982, daughter Jodi, siblings, Albert “Pat” Anderson, Floyd Anderson, Bill Anderson, Ervin Anderson, Tom Anderson, Elaine Brynjulfson, Evelyn Hirt, Loretta Hanson, Irene “Ivy” Gothman, and Edna Anderson.

Pallbearers will be Andy Moberg, Cade Moberg, Lowell Hanson, Richard Hanson, Blair Anderson, and Bob Florke.
