Icy Roads Keep State Patrol Busy Responding to Crashes
UNDATED -- Icy roads made for a messy commute morning and even delayed or canceled classes at some area schools.
The Minnesota State Patrol says they responded to a total of 261 crashes statewide from 5:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. There were 26 people who were hurt in those crashes, but none were serious injuries.
Troopers also assisted with another 182 vehicles that spun out and went into the ditch, and 12 semis that jackknifed.
