Icy Roads Cause Pierz Crash That Leaves 1 Hurt
PIERZ -- Icy road conditions caused a crash that left a Mora man hurt Friday morning in Morrison County.
The Morrison County Sheriff's Office says the incident happened just after 7:45 a.m. at the intersection of 153rd Street and 285th Avenue in Pierz Township.
A car driven by 17-year-old John Eich of Brainerd slid into the intersection while trying to make a turn and was rear-ended by a car driven by 69-year-old Eugene Kramer of Mora.
Kramer's vehicle was severely damaged and he was taken by ambulance to the hospital with minor injuries. Eich's vehicle was moderately damaged, but he was not hurt.
