BRAINERD - One of the state's largest ice fishing tournaments has been postponed.

The Brainerd Jaycees have announced that the "Ice Fishing Extravaganza" on Gull Lake scheduled for next Saturday, January 21st has been postponed until February 11th.

Organizers say, event though we have cold weather right now, they don't believe there's enough time to produce enough ice to be safe.

All tickets already bought will be honored on the 11th.  Refunds will not be issued, but if ticket holders are unable to attend the 2012 event a voucher for the 2013 event will be given.  Tickets will continue to be sold online, and at regular outlets.

$200,000 in prizes will be on the line when the tournament is held.
