A loving son you were to your mother and father,
A caring brother you were to your sister,
A protective master you were to your dog

Kind you were, fashioned from generations of loving people
Strong you were, forged by generations of suffering people

Poured into you the hopes and dreams of your Hmong family
Poured into you the strengths of your American family

You were to be the prince only we could dream about
And you were

So short your life was,
How broken hearted we are now that you are gone,

We shall love you until the end of days

Ian Benjamin Lo, brother to Sydney Lo, son of Dr. Yang Koua Lo and Dr. Rachel Schuneman, a student at St. John’s Prep in Collegeville, MN inexplicably left this world during his sleep on July 12, 2017. He leaves behind devastated friends and family that will forever be grateful for the precious little moments he gave us.

Ian was preceded in death by his grandfathers Harlan Schuneman and Nhia Her Lo.

Funeral Services will be at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at St. John’s Abbey Church in Collegeville. Visitation will take place from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Sunday.

In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to St. John’s Prep and The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals per Ian’s wishes.
