UPDATE: I-94 Reopens West of Alexandria

The Minnesota Department of Transportation says Interstate 94 from Moorhead to Alexandria, Highway 10 from Moorhead to Audubon and Highway 210 from Breckenridge to Fergus Falls all reopened around 5 p.m. Monday. But driving remains difficult.

U.S. 2 will remain closed between Crookston and East Grand Forks until Tuesday morning.

The National Weather Service says the storm dumped up to 5 inches of snow in the Alexandria area. Long Prairie received 4 inches, Little Falls 3.5 inches and Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport 3.10 inches.

Snow also made for a slippery commute in the Twin Cities Monday morning. Many vehicles are in the ditch along I-35 in southeastern Minnesota.
