Husky Re-Cycle Program Rides to St. Cloud State University [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD — Got an old bicycle you don’t want anymore?

St. Cloud State University’s Outdoor Endeavors is looking for bicycle donations for their Husky Re-Cycle Program.

The program allows students to rent bicycles to move around campus easier.

Ivan Bartha is the Outdoor Endeavors Coordinator. He says they start asking for bike donations this time of year as you begin your spring cleaning.

Bartha says they have begun accepting bike donations at Halenbeck Hall.

He says the donations do not have to be brand new bikes. He says they will also take bikes with useable parts or repairable as is.

Outdoor Endeavors hopes these bikes will be a tool for promoting sustainability on campus.

If you are interested in donating your used bike, you are asked to called Outdoor Endeavors at 320-308-3772 to set up a drop-off time.
