Huskies Surge to Decisive Win Over Western Michigan

KALAMAZOO, MI -- The St. Cloud State Huskies surged to a 5-2 victory against the Western Michigan Mustangs on Friday.

Jimmy Murray scored the first goal 6:07 into the second period putting the Huskies in the lead and later scored a second goal in the third period bringing SCSU to 3-1 lead.

Judd Peterson and Patrick Russell also scored in a four-goal third period en route to the 5-2 victory for the Huskies.

SCSU will look to take the weekend series tonight at 6 p.m. tonight (Saturday) at Western Michigan University.
