Huskies Strike Back With 2-1 Win Over Miami Redhawks

ST. CLOUD - The SCSU men's hockey team got back to its winning ways with a huge 2-1 victory over #7 Miami University last night at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center.

The Huskies tied the game 1-1 in the second period with a goal from Garrett Milan, his first goal of the season. SCSU would take the lead in the third with a beautiful goal from sophomore David Morley.

Ryan Faragher had a huge game for the Huskies, collecting 29 saves.

The Huskies improve to 6-1-1 and 3-1-0 in the NCHC this season. St. Cloud will be away from home for a pair of non-conference games against Alabama Huntsville next weekend.
