CROOKSTON -- The Huskies trailed at the half, but scored 28 unanswered points in the final two quarters to come away with a 45-24 victory at U of M Crookston.

It was a back-and-forth first half, as Crookston took an early 10-0 lead in the first quarter.

SCSU came back with 17 points of their own including a receiving touchdown from running back Ledell White and a rushing touchdown by quarterback Nate Meyer.

But Crookston scored 14 straight points to close out the final five minutes of the half to lead 24-17 at intermission.

After halftime, it was all St. Cloud State.

Meyer threw another touchdown pass - this one to Taylor Berger and later plunged into the endzone for his second rushing touchdown of the game.

The Huskies running backs added to the scoring barrage in the fourth quarter, with White scoring his second touchdown of the game on a six-yard run and Kenneth Walker breaking free for a 20-yard score.

With the win, the Huskies improve to 2-3 on the season and will host a big game against U of M Duluth on Saturday.
